Sri Poorna Mahameru Trust runs a Free old age home and free food center in Chennai for the past 25+ years. there are close to 40+ senior citizens living there under the care of the Trust, which attends to all their needs – accommodation, food, clothing, medical needs, etc.
Trust provides food to anyone (annadhanam) who walks in hungry to our premises in addition to the elders in the home on all 365 days of the year.
We have bought a customized Mobile food bank – A Vehicle for food distribution which has appropriate storage facilities. This vehicle will be driven specifically to hunger zones for providing free food to the needy. Mobile vans are aimed to serve the homeless people or economically backward. This Roadside Annadanam will be performed every Saturday from 12th Sept 2021 to serve around 300 people.
Donors are requested to sponsor for this Roadside annadanam, the proposed cost is Rs. 10,000 per week. Kindly join hands with us in the common cause and to serve society to make it a better place to live. The hand that serves is holier than the lips that pray.
